Uniquely recognized in the beautiful city of Paris, France, Bouquinistes are booksellers of second-hand books. They are allocated along the Seine River, which is known as the only river in the world that "runs between two bookshelves". In our opinion, the Bouquinistes are an emblem to the Parisian culture. 

Poetry by the Seine Bouquiniste, therefore, hopes to create a similar feeling to share with its community far and wide. We want to inspire the reader in you to keep a book on hand, find a quiet park or cafe to read, and escape, even if it's just for a few minutes, to a place or time you never knew before.

So, we invite you to find the beauty of the written word that is often times forgotten. Let's take a walk along the Seine, and read those words once again in books that deserve a second chance.
